It is in tune with this philosophy, the upscale, all-day dining cafes (or 24x7 restaurants) across ITC Luxury properties have gone one step ahead and designed their new a la carte menu in a way to ensure holistic wellness of their patrons, exemplify local delicacies and indoctrinate concern for the environment. ![]() At a recently held #TrendingAtPavilion luncheon at HORNBY'S PAVILION, ITC GRAND CENTRAL, MUMBAI, Chef Sumeet Rohela from the culinary masters’ team at this restaurant patiently walked us through the entire process of how at an annual conclave of chefs from various ITC properties, a thoughtful planning of the new menus was initiated. He delved into various aspects and dietary notations in the new menu (as seen in image alongside) to elucidate what they entail and how they are intended to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience. The thought of kebabs and biryani always leaves me salivating. This time around to satisfy my cravings for these yummy preparations, I landed on Christmas Eve at Bombay Biryani Cafe in Bandra West, Mumbai for a delicious meal.
Here is a look at my gluttony with some of the food at this place: ![]() My weekday was transformed from a mundane one to a magnificent one when I decided to stop over at Dinshaw’s Xpress Cafe for a munch including some smashing new sugary offerings. Also, while various fares of bawa bhonu remain their most sought after offerings, there are other interesting mentions in their menu that beckon applaud. A few of these being the drool-worthy, addictive, not-for-the-diet conscious POTATO FRIES. What makes these regular fries extraordinary are the lip-smacking decadent toppings they are presented with. Here is look at my gluttony with a few dishes from the vast menu at this place: Tucked away in an unassuming by lane of the bustling locality of Sion suburb in Mumbai, this place is delivering authentic Italian pizzas to your doorstep. The pizzas here are comparable or maybe even superlative than some of the best pizza places in town. The reason being owner and chef Pranav Gore is translating his years of experience and passion for Italian cuisine into each perfectly crafted pizza the place dishes out.

Maa Anjani was started by Devang Trivedi and his father (who happen to be stock brokers by the day) more than three years ago. So, here is a look at my gluttony at this place: ![]() A long, relaxed weekend at home becomes even more pleasurable if you have delivery kitchens providing scrumptious food at your doorstep. One such place that I ordered food from over the bygone weekend was The Central Kitchen operating out of Sion, Mumbai. One can place an order with them either through a phone call or their website or app. So, here is a look at the food I ended up ordering from this place: CHICKEN MALAI TIKKA Six medium sized pieces of boneless chicken garnished with grated cheese made up this appetizer. The chicken was succulent and had a pleasant smokiness reminiscent of its cooking in a tandoor or charcoal fired oven. The use of cream and spices in its marination had imbibed the chicken with a rich, earthy flavor. While the cuisine of North India especially that from Delhi and its surrounding areas is predominantly non-vegetarian, there are numerous vegetarian preparations that are assured to wow the palate of an obstinate non-vegetarian like me. This is precisely what transpired during my recent dinner at the pure vegetarian restaurant, Delhi Highway in Andheri East, Mumbai.
