CHOCOLATE ALMOND ICE CREAM CUBES

Chocolate and almonds are ingredients my mother loves in her ice cream. So, today on the ocassion of her birthday I have made her this frozen treat with my simple 4-ingredient ice cream recipe that needs no cooking. Since she fancies mini bites of ice cream, I have gone ahead and used ice cube trays rather than a container to freeze the ingredient mixture.

Here is the recipe for your perusal.
Yield: 25-30 cubes
Prep time: 60 minutes
Mixing time: 5 minutes
Freezing time: 8-10 hours

Equipment required: Bowls & ice cube trays

Ingredients:
  • 200 gm Condensed milk
  • 370 gm Amul fresh cream
  • 50 gm Chocolate spread
  • 50 gm Whole almonds
Method:
  1. Chill the cream for about 45-60 minutes in the freezer before starting the recipe to thicken it.
  2. Mix the chocolate spread with the condensed milk until you get a smooth blend and keep aside. (Do this while the cream is chilling)
  3. Fold the chilled cream into this condensed milk - chocolate spread mixture gradually ensuring no lumps remain in the mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into ice cube trays and garnish cubes as desired with whole almonds.
  5. Freeze for 8-10 hours or until hard.
  6. Demould and serve.
